What does Audio matching mean?
Audio matching is a technical process for measuring audiovisual content. In the audio matching process, sound signals are picked up by the measuring device as audio patterns and compared with audio patterns from transmitters continuously recorded on a server. If signals match, usage is then assigned to a transmitter. The abbreviation “AMS” is sometimes used for “Audiomatching System”.
