What does Broadcast Video on Demand (BVoD) mean?
Broadcast Video on Demand (BVoD) refers to video-on-demand platforms and media libraries of classic TV broadcasters that make their own program content available online with a time delay (catch-up TV), exclusively in advance (previewing) or as archive material. Since these services are predominantly ad-financed, BVoD represents a subset of the AVoD (Advertising Video on Demand) model.
