What does Hybrid Broadcast Broadband TV (HbbTV) mean?
An international industry standard that links digital television (broadcast) with the Internet (broadband). HbbTV enables viewers to access interactive services while the TV program is running using the "Red Button" on the remote control. These include media libraries, digital program guides (EPG), news tickers or targeted advertising (addressable TV).
